Supply Chain Planner


Summary:
Supply Chain Planning is responsible for reviewing material demand and issuing and managing vendor POs - from order creation to order close, as well as maintaining material master data, and tactical vendor relations.
Supply Chain Planners work closely with other Supply Chain functions including Production Control in addition to cross-functional departments and communicating throughout all levels of the organization.
They are responsible for maintaining and controlling inventory and vendor on-time delivery metrics.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Monitor supply performance against KPIs - identify and understand trends in performance & identify opportunities for improvement Provide data to support Global Supply review summaries and follow-up on actions Collaborate with site to understand root causes of supply issues, define and act on corrective actions Review demand needs and execute tactical order placement in the frozen horizon Analyze demand evolutions and capacity impacts on a mid-term horizon (M+3 to M+23) Understand and influence bottlenecks at vendor compared to demand pattern; simulate different scenarios on the production bottlenecks considering business priorities Provide a monthly Master Production Plan (MPS) Challenge production constraints to optimize output SOP plans Validate region material allocation; translate business priorities and shortages and measure allocation adherence Analyze ramifications of changing demands expressed inside the frozen period Advise on and maintain key planning parameters (SAP master data) to optimize the supply chain performance Champion standard ways of performing the planning Develop baseline volumes for assigned products in support of the annual site budget process and advise on volume sensitivities Manage communications with the Demand Planners and Sales Teams to ensure a seamless and efficient flow of information between sites and markets Monitor and manage local inventory levels
Qualifications:

Years of supply chain experience Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience with data analytics Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with SAP in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing facility Knowledge of forecasting and inventory management methodologies Skilled in Microsoft Excel and data analytics Education/Certification/Training:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, or related field or 5

Occasional shop presence to observe assembly, mounting, testing, and maintenance procedures.
